2005-JUL > NC Homegrown Handmade Agri-Cultural Tourist Site
LYNCH CREEK FARM was accepted as a tourist site in North Carolina’s new Arts + Agricultural initiative that provides a Guidebook and internet-based Trails that vacationers coming to North Carolina can review to develop free, self-directed driving routes they can enjoy at their own pace.
This new state-wide intiative is being sponsored and funded by The Gold Leaf Foundation, North Carolina Arts Council, HandMade in America and the North Carolina Cooperative Extension service. Consumer friendly Agri-Cultural Trails and Itineraries are being developed and presented at the www.HomegrownHandmade.com web site.
Checkout this new website, and begin planning a vacation or weekend get-a-way. You can find LYNCH CREEK under the “Hushpuppies, Pimento Cheese & Sweet Tea” menu under the town of “Louisburg”.
The program has strict criteria for inclusion as a Trail Site. Site Profiles, Directions and Maps are provided. This IS NOT the yellow pages of North Carolina; rather, a juried selection of the best that North Carolina has to offer.
