Flower Arrangements

Call to order seasonal fresh-cut flowers, forced bulb displays and custom floral arrangements for Holidays, Parties and Special Occasions.

Casual or formal bouquets of field- and greenhouse-grown flowers are skillfully incorporated with "found" materials for "one-of-a-kind" floral creations.

Elements are chosen from the seasonal bounty of hedges, meadow and surrounding woods, for a unique look.

Early Spring selections are planned around forced bare branches of forsythia, willow, quince or redbud highlighted with forced bulb blossoms: narcissus, daffodils, iris, hyacinths and tulips.

Spring cuts from flowering shrubs, mock orange, peony, lilac and hydrangeas to name a few, create elegant table-top centerpieces using a single flower type. Inquire as to what flowers are currently available.

Summer "country bouquets" are a variety of color and texture. Composed of pastels: blue, white, pink and lavender or intense shades of red, orange, yellow and purple. Each presentation is a mix of flower sizes and heights, interspersed with airy stems of herbs, shrubs and branches. Request your color preferences for a custom bouquet to complement your decor or occasion.

Fall "name-your-occasion" - Thanksgiving? - arrangements are as simple as a hollowed pumpkin container, filled with magnolia and entwined with bittersweet and flowers or as "country" as Fall leaves, fruit and grasses in a metal sap bucket. What about Christmas and Hanukah? Request single blossoms grouped (5 or 7) in clear and colored glass balls for a special table-top effect.

Winter Other table-top selections feature evergreen boughs with berries, cones, seed pods and fruit, alone or grouped with forced-bulb blossoms of "paper-white", narcissus and amaryllis in basket containers. Holiday wreaths, swags and garlands are available in November and December. Pine, cedar, juniper, holly and myrtle are grouped with birch twigs, seed pods, berries and cones for festive winter door, mantle and table decorations. Living wreaths of pansies and viola are also available October through Christmas.

Year-round wedding and party centerpieces can be special ordered. Flower selections are limited to available materials. Prices will be quoted based upon the size and complexity of the design. Ask about fixed price cut-flower centerpieces for Mothers and Fathers Day.
