Spring Capped to Drip-Irrigate Orchard

The first step to provide a reliable water supply for the irrigation of Lynch Creek's Orchard was recently completed. A year-round spring was capped near the orchard (see thumbnail photo sequence below) to provide an underground pipe reservoir of water that will be pumped to drip-irrigate each of our heirloom and local heritage apple trees.

It has become essential to water the orchard through the hot summers (and droughts) we have been experiencing. Additional photos will be added to document the entire irrigation project.
